Aberdeen College
Neil Watson (an ex-student of the college, 1978 - 80) sits on the course committee for the HND Computer Graphics course for Aberdeen College. The company participates in the college placement program where the students have one or two weeks shadowing and participating in dummy projects under time restraints.

Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire Councils
There have been several placements from schools in the Aberdeen area. The placement period for pupils is normally one week, helping many of them formulate the direction their career path will take.

There has also been educational industry links offering teacher placements to ensure a better understanding of the skills required today in the graphics industry.

Economic Development Department - Gateway to work
Fresh ideas also participate in the above scheme, which aims to give the opportunity of industrial placement for its students in the form of staff shadowing.

RGU
University Students have proven very useful within our work environment, using their course experience in a variety of projects including evaluation reviews for new client projects and client competitor analysis.

Charity support
Fresh ideas support several Charities within the Grampian area, assisting in presentation material and printing. Delivering a professional finish assisting organisers in the initial marketing of their projects leading to a raised the profile, which in turn can assist in raising more funds.
